[BIOGRAPHY]
Victor Galles is a Brazilian-born digital artist and creative technologist operating under the alias Datajunkz. His practice is rooted in the evolution of video art, having found a primary form of expression through VJing and the expansive possibilities of real-time rendering to create immersive visual experiences.
Currently based in Europe, he is investigating new visual languages within the DIGICREA Master’s program. His work explores the intersection of code and physical space, utilizing creative computing to translate tangible experiences into interactive installations that bridge the gap between the organic and the digital.
Central to his practice is a focus on the dynamics of movement and digital environments. By embracing constant experimentation and the intentional errors of the machine, he utilizes glitches and technical "failures" as core creative tools to challenge traditional perceptions of media and interaction.
